Examples of our work
Health, Inequalities and Vulnerability
We deliver integrated equality, health inequality and health impact assessments (IIAs). These assessments enable organisations to meet their statutory requirements and ensure that all stakeholders, especially the public, can explore the possible benefits and concerns of any plans or proposals.
Examples in the public domain – stroke, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency paediatrics and neonatal, emergency and planned care,
We work with a wide range of organisations to support employees and raise awareness of the needs of vulnerable groups.
Health Surveillance
We work closely with the North East Quality Observatory Service to create health and care surveillance reports which enable stakeholders to gain a common understanding of the key health and care challenges affecting a population, and to monitor and evaluate the impact of health improvement work programmes
Intelligence and evidence
We develop and deliver reports and dashboards which source, synthesise, review and summarise intelligence, evidence and issues relating to health and care issues or key
vulnerable groups. We have particular expertise in relation to urgent care, older people, children, long term conditions, carers, inequalities and mental health. Our reports are used to inform plans for new services and to shape the development of suitable performance management and impact measurement indicators.
Communities of interest
We have considerable experience of developing communities of interest relating to a wide range of issues including clinical performance, health improvement, health care quality, carers, vulnerability and ageing
Carents® and The Carents Room
We have put our knowledge and experience into practice to help adults who are supporting their elderly parents (Carents®). Founded in 2020 during the COVID 19 pandemic, The Carents Room is an online one stop shop providing Carents, with the support and resources they need whilst helping their parents which is used as a resource by GP practices across the UK.
Quality Improvement
We are experts in measuring and improving health and care service quality collaborating with stakeholders at national, regional and local level.
Return on Investment
We source, synthesise and deliver the relevant qualitative and quantitative evidence to enable organisations to predict, measure and demonstrate social, economic, health or financial benefits arising from new services or interventions.
Outcomes and Evaluation
We design measurement frameworks and logic models which enable the evaluation of simple projects and complex change programmes concerned with tackling vulnerability, and improving health and care.
